  "We were staying at the couples last weekend and after horseback riding we decided to have lunch at the Mad Musher. It was quiet and small but the food was delicious. I had a greek salad and my husband had fish and chips which were really good! Would definitely go back next time we are up that way"

This time saw three police cruisers parked in front (usually police or paramedics eating somewhere is an indicator food and prices are decent) so decided to give it a try before crossing the park. I don't like my pop served in a can so was a bi..."t doubtful when the drinks came. Food followed fairly quickly. A simple selection of bruschetta , a burger and onion rings. Many remote, small town restaurants would come up with something out of a freezer bag but the burger was fresh, juicy and tasty. The rings were just right plenty of onion, not too much batter and cooked the right amount of time to avoid limp or greasy. The bruschetta was nicely done too. Price was quite reasonable in a touristy environment. Good view of a lively river too. I will stop again even without police protection. " More >

  "The reviews were right - delighted to say!! I had the chili which was fabulous and my husband had the Venison Pot Pie .... More like a stew and he ate every drop and loved it. Don't miss out on a great meal when in Whitney. Free wifi was a nice treat too!"
