  "We've eaten at Mama Z's 2008 & 2010 and have never been disappointed. We stayed in Dease Lake overnight, Mama Z's was shut for a large party in the evening so we only had breakfast here this year. Mama Z served and cooked the breakfast herself and it was the best breakfast we had on our 4 weeks to..."uring Canada & Alaska. Bacon, hash browns, eggs, cooked perfectly, along with the toast and extra fresh tomato and feta cheese that I really wasn't expecting. Just as we were leaving Mama Z spontaneously decided to offer us a guided tour of her property, (a bit odd!) which we felt obliged to accept. The kitchen was spotless, and her guest rooms were very 'arty' and elegant. Even the restaurant bathrooms have cologne and perfume in! There's not many places to eat in Dease Lake, if you go to Mama Z's you're guaranteed great tasting food. " More >

  "If you like decent pub food, you will like this place. No competition in Dease Lake, but they treat you right. Downside for a Pub - the only thing they have 'on tap' is water. Bottled beer only, but they have wine and spirits also."
