  "We live in Zaragoza and decided to take a trip to Calatayud. Based on TA reviews we decided to go to Puerta de Terrer. First, value: spectacular. We had a lunch (menu del dia) that fed 2 adults and 2 kids, with water, wine and coffee for under 40 eur! A rare occasion even in this crisis ridden t..."ime. Second: service was excellent. We were given space ( time to read the menu, which typically is accompanied with a bit of pressure) when needed. Food came nicely spaced, so we felt very comfortable. Third: food quality was excellent overall. Presentation was very nice and portions more than ample. The only 2 small thoughts for improvement would be: desert choice could be a bit livelier, and ternasco ( Aragon lamb) is a must have in a top restaurant in a town in Aragon. One extra special service was the fact that when we asked to split one menu for our kids, they nicely put those on separate plates while preserving the presentation.   "Due to our car collapsing we found this restaurant on 16 March. WHAT A FIND - cannot fault it. IF IN CALATAYUD THE ONLY RESTAURANT TO USE. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS.
