“It's a amazing time.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 February 2012

What do you seek in Marunouchi? The heart of the business in Japan is in front of me. Mitsubishi head office functions, SMBC, Hitachi, typical of Japanese companies are concentrated. Ginza, Japan's upscale commercial district, Traditional Culture of Japanese, Kabuki can see in Ginza. Tsukiji where is many sushi restaurant fish market is one of the most famous in the world. Akihabara is no need to explain. Everything is within 2 kilometers. Hotel's location is in front of Tokyo station. There is only 15-minute by train ride to Disneyland. Business? Tourism? Elegant stay? I think all will come true. It is a amazing place. This is THE MARUNOUCHI.

Room Tip: Room No. 02-09 for railfan. I stayed at 404. Good view. I look at SHINKANSEN very near.

“Unexpected visit to Tokyo and the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi”

Due to weather we missed our connecting flight from Tokyo to Singapore and consequently had to spend almost a full day in Tokyo beginning with our arrival at Haneda at 1am. Fortunately I had booked the Four Seasons before leaving San Francisco. When we arrived at the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi we were greeted warmly by the hotel representative who took our bags, handled the check in and escorted us to our room. After getting several hours of rest we had a great breakfast at the hotel and ended up talking with Dan Simon, The General Manager, who after learning of our unplanned visit to Tokyo, offered some suggestions on what to see and took us to talk with the concierge. Mr. Simon extended our check out to 6pm as we had an 11:35pm flight to Singapore. We spent the day seeing the Imperial Gardens, walking through Ginza and seeing Sensoji Temple. Hotel staff was fantastic and we ended up having a memorable visit thanks to the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi.

Great location for a hotel for business travellers. this Four seasons property is so un assuming that you will miss it even if you walk past the front gate. Once you are in its very sleek , stylish and welcoming. As everything in tokyo it was expensive. The staff is helpful and they are a good conceirge who helps in restaurant bookings etc. I will stay here again next time I am in tokyo,

“brilliant service culture....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

There are a lot of hotels that wow you with glamourous foyers, invisible edge pools and multiple dining choices.
The true measure in my eyes is the service culture - and FS Marunouchi has one of the best I've ever experienced.
It is clear the employees have pride in their hotel and so they should. The rooms are small in number but exceptional in standard. The single restaurant is simply outstanding so there is no need for a second one - full marks to Gerard's team.(although the breakfast music did make us try to pick the tune from pre 70's middle class America...)
Jonathon at Concierge is a great front man - by the time he's picked you up from the train and led you to your room you know the stay is looking good. He's funny, helpful and completely focused on what you want from Tokyo.
The rest of the team don't disappoint. They don't want you in the rain without an umbrella, in the lift unless they can press the floor button, on a lounge chair without at least a glass of water or on the subway without one of their own easy to follow printed maps. (and, yes, they will walk you to the station if your unsure)
This hotel does have other bonuses. (I almost feel like saying "but wait there's more...")
It's so central it could be nicknamed "Bullseye". On top of the main train station with it's underground shopping centre, the hotel is just minutes from the Ginza district, the Imperial Palace and gardens, a short 20 minute trek to the fish markets and in close proximity to the subway system.
My family think like I do, and it would seem like a lot of other reviews, this is a lay down choice for Tokyo. Well done FSM!!

Room Tip: our large corner suite had a view of the railway lines - trust me, this is fascinating and a plus to...

“Outstanding service and courteous staff, good location for subway/train access.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

We had very pleasant experience with the hotel and staff. The staff service was good and prompt. "All" spoke good English. They took time to note my son's birthday on his passport that coincided with the trip and the staff took time to wait till we arrived back at the room late at night to surprise him with a cake. Nice touch.

Room Tip: None, we had 4th floor. We did not look out at window that much. Maybe the higher floors (5th, 6th...

Thank you for your kind words. The pricing of the rooms is more based on the view thewhich floor the room is located on. Our train view rooms tend to be the most popular with families. We hope to see you and your family back with us soon again.
