Being a hotel designed primarily for Japanese business travelers, Western travelers may find the rooms a tad snug. Actually quite efficient in use of size, once you get over the small area, it works quite well, for one. You will feel crowded if you have a colleague in for a meeting. Good beds, extremely clean. Several toiletry amenities. TV is mostly Japanese channels - think Bill Murray in Lost in Translation channel surfing in the middle of the night. Location is really good in that Yotsuya is right in between downtown Tokyo and Shinjuku and on the Maranouchi subway line. Lots of small restaurants, some quite reasonable and good in the neighborhood. For the miserly (like me) there is a grocery across the street, though I am upset that the Gourmet City closed down. Do have the breakfast buffet at least once or twice, but watch out for the pastries -- they are scrumptious!
We had to check in a little early, no problem, no charge. Staff was attentive and gentle. The room was perfect and fair for japanese standards. Fast wifi internet was for free. The location is super, steps from the underground station. We recommend it.
Have stayed in this hotel before and stayed 3 nights in Jul'11. Good location and although rooms are small (typical of Japanese Hotels), they are clean and come with free internet connection. Breakfast is adequate.
Will return to this hotel.
To me the hotel is very convenient and clean, thing that I value a lot. Do not expect anything super posh, it's just an honest place to stay butreasonable. I like hotels like this one because they do not promise something they cannot offer.
Not smoking room is a must, we had to change room because other guests were heavy smokers.
