Check-in was very efficient/friendly - I was given a cold welcome drink + hot towel which is a nice touch - I was escorted to my seafront villa (#8881 on 'Lobster Alley' - Mid level on hillside) with the check-in attendant via buggy + shown room features - The room itself is brilliant - large/spacious - beautifully decorated - sliding doors fully open - large plunge pool was refreshing (= a little cold) + the 2 day beds/seats nxt to the pool very comfortable with awesome views over Kata beach/ocean - big sitting/entertaining area - the bathroom is amazing with freestanding bathtub + huge shower - the bed is a huge comfy king with lots of pillows resulting in quality slumber! The breakfast buffet was fantastic - the best thing about it was eating while overlooking the picture postcard like beach/ocean scenery! The staff + service = 1st class - Note that the resort is built onto a hillside so quite steep in some sections with lots of steps but dont let this deter you - you simply call reception + they will send you a buggy to pick you up + take you anywhere or you can catch one from reception - I was transferred to/fro The Shore + Katathani Resort - even took to me to the mini mart + waited while I got supplies then drove me back to my villa! Everything was perfect - I will definitely be returning!!!

My wife and I traveled here after our wedding in Phuket. Given all the activities we had during our wedding week, we needed a great place to relax and the Shore was the perfect spot!!! We were greeted by a super friendly staff and were delighted to see our luxurious room decorated with swans and flowers, congratulating us on our marriage. The view from the room is absolutely magnificent. Set on the hills, the rooms overlook Kata Beach and viewing the sunset is phenomenal. The deck is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink or meal and just watch the ocean waves roll in. The highlight of the room is having our own pool!! It provided the perfect opportunity to cool off and made for great photo opportunities. The bathroom was also great with the rain shower, bath tub, and the great smelling salt scrub. The room was so perfectly equipped that we often decided to stay in rather than explore the area. In addition to the room, the facilities are great! We went to the spa and the massages were heavenly! Breakfast was also absolutely delicious! If you're looking for an unforgettable honeymoon in Phuket, the Shore is the perfect spot!!!

A really amazing place for couples secluded from the main Katathani resort. The seaview pool villas are really everything you would want with splendid views and outstanding service. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the beach is not so crowded although there are 1000 umbrellas for people from the main Katathani resort, other hotels and from outside. the best restaurant is La Scala in our opinion, but you should also try Mom Tri's Kitchen at the Villa royale resort on the hill nearby. Chanadda restaurant is just average, the buffet lunch at Seacret is very good value and pretty good quality. Recommend a trip on a scooter to the Big Bhudda and also to Pronthep Cape. The wine bar tasting at the resort has limited pretty ordinary wines. Wine quality and selection in Thailand in general is limited.

We started out with the 2 bedroon pool villa as we have took along our 15 and 19 year old but we were disappointed with the outlook - The ocean view was only from the top floor and it was a long walk from the beach. So asked the incredible staff if we could change rooms. We were able to change to 2 X ocean view pool villas- incredible. Could not praise the hotel enough. the rooms were better than the website showed. The staff were extremely attentive and dealt with everything so professionally. We loved the breakfast by the pool .The beach was relatively quiet and incredibly beautiful. We had a great time and so did the teenagers. If you book a 2 bedroom villa just be aware that there is only one with an ocean view- its worth it to upgrade.
