Bueatiful resort with great staff and service.
Located in a hill, but with free transfer service to Kata Beach.
There is an absolute good vibration in this place.
Beatiful Garden, Bueautiful Pool, Beautiful Rooms.

My wife and daughter and I spent ten days at this resort. It's high up on a hill but just a 20 min walk to beach. Okay to walk down but not to walk back. You can hire scooters which make getting around really easy. Food, pool, rooms all very very good. Highly Recommended if you have children.

We stayed for 10 nights in Jan 2012 and loved every minute of our stay at Boomerang Village. The staff are so friendly and would do anything to help, the facilities are great, the rooms are clean and spacious and beautifully designed and the food was delicious (the best spring rolls in Thailand!) If you are expecting a 3* resort you will be pleasantly surprised as Boomerang has all you need for a fabulous holiday within a reasonable budget. We decided to book with Boomerang for our 11 night stay in Phuket based on the reviews here at TA. We were not disappointed with our choice.

All the dealings with Boomerang, from prior to booking, after booking, making booking adjustments and the stay itself were nothing short of first class.

We arrived in Phuket just after 9am on Jan 15 and the hotel driver was waiting for us.

With check-in not due to 2pm Boomerang stored our luggage, allowed us to have some breakfast and relax in the living room til our rooms were ready.

The hotel staff were always friendly and always helpful in attending to our needs. From poolsode service, meals in the restaurant, organising taxis and tours, they could not be faulted.

The hotel itslef is beautifully set up, lush gardens, a lovely pool area and the views were great.

The rooms (suite pool) are spacious with balconies providing awesome views of Kata. The rooms were cleaned every day. (just one area here that could be improved upon is the towels provided are getting a little old and a bit tattered).

The buffet breakfast was nice. The restaurant provided a vast menu of Italian and Thai food. We ate at Cafe Del Sol a few times and whilst generally the food was great, a couple of times there were delays in dishes being brought to the table. For example I had finished my main course before my partner had received hers. Again just another tip to improve.

The pool area at Boomerang is very peaceful and relaxing, we spent a few days by the pool, having some drinks and a bite to eat.

Boomerang's location for us was perfect, on the hill overlooking Kata, away from the busy shops and restaurants. And the "hill" everyone talks about is really a non-event. The hill itself is lucky to be 200 metres. It's only a 15 min walk to Kata. And, to have such a nice view there has to be some kind of hill and distance factor involved. We walked to Kata numerous times and we are by no means fitness freaks. We loved the location. The hotel provide numerous options in getting about as well.

Overall our experience with Boomerang is one we will remember for a very long time and rate very highly. Boomerang provide huge value for money in terms of rooms and service when compared to other resorts.

We would not hesitate in coming back.
