“Beautiful, romantic and relaxing!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 February 2012 via mobile

Beautiful, quite place! Great for couples and family who don't want to be near busy patong. Excellent restaurants inside and staff are very kind.
Go out to the back street where it leads you to the beach. Hear out for a lady on her bike/shop honking her horn, she sells the most delicious authentic papaya salad. Let her know how hot you would like it.. Coz she can make it hot!!
Hotel rooms are well thought out. Always kept clean. Cleaning ladies will wait til you leave the room to clean and change sheets etc. without be so obvious.
You get 2 free bottles of water everyday. They gave us 4 and we just put them in the fridge and freezer so we could always have cold drinks for spares.
Kids minding room is quite small. Better for older kids 4+ but I wouldn't leave them there for that long as they'll probably get bored very quickly. They have a great kids pool though and a larger one right next so you can keep an eye out for them while you're dipped in the pool.
Spa treatments are expensive but very relaxing if you're into the aromatherapy stuff.
Getting a Thai massage (outside the resort) everyday was much better for me and so much cheaper. Some were more experienced. Foot massages everyday was great too.

“Just the best.”

What a magnificent find; unfortunately at the end of our holiday. We stayed at 3 fivestar resort and this was the best by a mile.
If you want a magical Phuket holiday this is the place to stay. It's all about "relax and enjoy". For example there is no "Business Centre" rather a magnicient Library. Same facilities of free Internet, books and beautiful lounges in air-conditioned comfort but the emphasis is on relaxing; forget business.
Lovely obliging staff, beautiful pools, fabulous restaurants, magnificent grounds, out of this world beach facility and its signature Spa facility.
I dare anyone to say they had a less than perfect stay. Give it a go; you won't be sorry.

“A truly amazing experience”

This was my second stay at the Indigo Pearl. The first stay was great and I knew I would come back. I returned a year later and was even more impressed this time.

The resort has a unique design to be seen in every detail. The staff is very friendly and their language skills are way above what you usually meet in Thailand.

When travelling with friends it is much appreciated with two "no-children" (14/16yrs) pools. The accomodation is superb and lots of attention to details can be seen everywhere. The cleanliness is 100%.

An extra recommendation is to visit the restaurant Black Ginger. The food and the environment was impressive.

Impressive breakfast!

My warmest greetings to the staff at Indigo Pearl that gives full focus to their guests.

Room Tip: Upgrade to D-buk suites to get two private terraces

Dear Jesper C,

Thank you for your review, glad to read you had a wonderful stay with us. Indeed recommend prior reservations to dine at our Black Ginger restaurant to avoid disappointment, as due to its popularity, always booked out. And will certainly pass your acknowledgement to our staff. Kind Regards, Indigo Pearl team.

“An Adaman Pearl :)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 February 2012

We had to find an extra night of accommodation as the place we were staying at did not have a room free... And were we glad that was the case!
It was the first night of our stay in Phuket, and we didn't know what to expect. We have read many reviews and were intrigued. So here's the spiel:
Pros:
1. Awesome decor - reflective of the tin mining history and very tasteful.
2. Greeting - we had organized transport when we booked our accommodation, but unfortunately no one turned up, but after a phone call, a shuttle bus and chaperone was there within 10-15min to pick us up. ThereThe check in process was smooth, albeit we were not able to get into our room until 1500 (despite the check in time of 1400); it gave us some time to explore the compounds of the resort.
3. Moo's cooking class - the 6 hour course (that runs Monday and Fridays) including the visit to the market was amazing! We were given alternatives to the ones we used in class if we cannot find them back home in Australia. The kitchen apron, recipe cards, tips and the best part, we got to eat our fresh ingredients and freshly prepared meals! You also get to take home a photo keepsake. The chefs that taught us both were very talented, friendly and easily understandable.
4. Black Ginger - we walked past the restaurant in the daytime, and it didn't look that impressive. But when we got there at night, the whole place was transformed. There was a barge that took you across from the entrance to the restaurant, as if you were being transported to a faraway place for food! The decor was very nice, the staff friendly, and the Mai Tais were amazing! We had 2 entrees and one main and were quite full. The Poh Piah is and experience - make your own spring roll.
5. Room: We booked an Premium Pearl Suite. The room had an extremely comfortable bed and pillows (the second most comfortable beds we have slept in in our travels). Our room had an outdoor bathtub, it was large enough for two (including my partner who is 6ft 2, he was impressed as he struggles to find a bath tub large enough to be comfortable in). The shower head in the bathroom was very relaxing, no complaints about the water pressure. Basically the decor of the room tied in very nicely with the theme of the resort. There was a turn down service, with mosquito coil and plug-in insect repellant to boot. Well done!
6. Service - the staff were friendly and happy to assist. The majority spoke reasonable English.
7. Layout - definately liked the idea of having three separate pools - one that catered to the familym two others for adults (one of which also included a pool bar).

Cons:
1. Our airport transfer was forgotten (but that was fixed after a phone call)
2. Room was not ready at said time
3. Thre was nowhere to hang a towel or bath robe whilst utilizing the out door bath tub. Also despite the fact there were two curtains that provided privacy, a third one would have enabled one to move into the bathroom more discretely.
4. The air conditioner leaked onto the timber floor over the course of the night, there was a small puddle below the ducted air conditioning in the bedroom.

All in all, we had a positive experience and would definately come back again and recommend it to family and friends! Pity we didn't have enough time, otherwise we would have liked to try the Coqoon Spa. Until next time...

“What a hidden gem”

After spending a week at Karon Beach, Indigo Pearl at Nai Yang beach was such a pleasant change.
What a beautiful resort . The accommodation in a Cocoon Villa was superb. Very clean and lots of attention to detail. Love the fact that it was once a tin mine. The colours and decor keeping the tin mine theme is very funky and rustic.
Huge well kept gardens and just a walk through the resort to the beach. A little shopping with lots of local little restaurants on the beach added just that bit of personality to the hotel. The hotel has its own area on the beach with a great beach shack bar.
Cocktails and food were reasonably priced . The Thai restaurant "Black Ginger" offered atmosphere along with good service and food.
There is a great childrens pool with 3 or 4 different little pools for the kids to enjoy. There is also an adults only pool.
Overall if you are looking for some peace and serenity and a hotel on the funky side....definately try Indigo Pearl.
