The place was great, it is just what you are looking for when you want to visit the area. The owner is a great person and she is willing to go all the way out for you. The breakfast was very good and representative of Chile. What I liked the most was the clean white walls, the water pressure was great for a small cabin. The decoration and facilities are very well thought and in the kitchen the equipment has everything you may need. The best place I've been to in a while.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ecobox. Great service, great accommodation!! The hostess is just lovely and she also speaks English, which is very nice. Ecobox is highly recommended, and well worth the price you pay.

We were lucky to have been booked into Ecobox by our mountain bike guide. When we arrived, we knew we were somewhere special. Colorfully painted cabins constructed from shipping containers are connected by boardwalks and hidden in the trees. Our hostess and owner of Ecobox, a former architect from Santiago, was very helpful and friendly. We were treated to a huge bar-b-que which was an amazing value for the money. The accommodations inside the cabins were very clean, modern, and comfortable. There was nothing left to be desired. Highly recommended!

Amidst the over abundance of guest cabins in Las Trancas, EcoBox stands out as a creative and progressive choice for accommodation. Set snuggly in nature, my modern cabin provided me with tranquil serenity and picture perfect views - a foreground of native plants, a mid of mossy green forest and a background of the magical surrounding mountains and waterfalls. Ecobox is run by one onsite and caring owner who made me feel extremely welcome and my short stay memorable.
