We arrived for our 4 night stay at Ecobox Andino after a 36 hour journey from Scotland in early September 2011, and we couldn't have chosen better. The cabins were very warm and spacious. We did a days skiing at the resort, and 2 days touring on the volcanoes, and each night when we got back knackered, the wood burner was on and the cabins were cosy. The cabin was well equiped.

Rosa was really friendly, helpful and spoke English. I definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Ecobox Andino is brilliantly situated in the Las Trancas valley and probably the best place to stay if you aren't going to opt to stay up at the resort (which can be pricey). We've stayed at various places in the Las Trancas valley and all (except) Ecobox Andino have had their pitfalls eg. not warm enough, really bad service etc. Ecobox Andino was a great place to stay at, the rooms were perfect for a coupe and two friends, also for a couple with two children.

The place was great, it is just what you are looking for when you want to visit the area. The owner is a great person and she is willing to go all the way out for you. The breakfast was very good and representative of Chile. What I liked the most was the clean white walls, the water pressure was great for a small cabin. The decoration and facilities are very well thought and in the kitchen the equipment has everything you may need. The best place I've been to in a while.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ecobox. Great service, great accommodation!! The hostess is just lovely and she also speaks English, which is very nice. Ecobox is highly recommended, and well worth the price you pay.
