It is very convenient to Tanah Rata town centre.
Beautiful garden view and clean environment.
Basically the tour offered by this lodge is relatively low price, good!!

Best described as a cross between a guest house and a youth hostel, fairly basic rooms, but resaonably clean, some with balconies ( if the weather allows you to use them!). OK for a short stay, as is Tanah Rata. The owner seems to operate in a style that is very laid back , which may suit some people, but had to be asked several times to ensure basic requests, like obtaining tickets had been completed. I considered the room prices to be a bit high by Malaysian standards, for what you get. Overall Ok, but left me feeling some much more could be achieved with this property with a little more organisation.
We booked Hillview Inn on the basis of good reviews and we were not disapointed. It is a very nice and clean place, lowely building in kind of tudor style with big rooms (we were staying in a double room with a private bath), all with balcony. The bathroom was very clean, as it was also the room, which had some nice details. You could noticed immediately, that somebody is taken care about it. There is no TV in the room, but there are several living rooms with TV and wifi is free of charge, though you can't get connected in the room, but you have to come downstairs to the restaurant or a living room.
The staff is not very friendly, but they are effective. When we asked for extra blankets (it was quite cold in the night) we got it immediately.
This is a very good budget accommodation and we would go there anytime again. We certainly recommend it.
The hotel is very clean and the staff is always near if you need something. The rooms are quite basic but nicely arranged because of the cute building style.
Don't expect luxury. There's no TV in the rooms or aircondition. However, The nice thing about Cameron Highlands is that you don't need cooling. The outside-temperature is already perfect day and night.
The owners are very frienly and can help to organize any trip to the surroundings.
The staff were very rude, and from my bedroom I could hear into some sort of staff room where people were urinating, hocking up phlegm and brushing their teeth, general human sounds that you are not supposed to hear while staying in someones hotel. This was especially first thing in the morning. The showers were cold and there was no curtain so everything got wet. I would not stay here again.
