On our way to the BC interior we stopped in Banff for one night at this property. Its actually a collection of buildings, some with hotel rooms and others with suites. Its Motel style so you drive up to your door. The buildings are fairly spread out and our group got separated because we had 2 types of rooms.

It is not located in town but a 4-5 minute drive into town. Too far to walk so its a bit inconvenient. The free shuttle is nice but doesn't make up for the hassle of waiting around. We had a rental car so it didn't matter too much but it would have been nice to go out and not have to worry about how much you drank at the bar.

The rooms need an update but they were comfortable and clean, the beds too soft. The suite had a well equipped kitchen and fridge. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful.
We did not use the amenities but there were hot tubs and pools available..

Fast free internet via Wifi.

Not too much to complain about for a quick stop but if I was staying in Banff for longer than one day, I'd look for something in town.

We've stayed here several times over the past 8 years. A couple of times for a company xmas party and a few times on our own dime. We've never yet had a bad experience and we always enjoy our stay there. We would definitely recommend them.

Stayed for their annual SasSQUASH tournament. Housekeeping was AMAZING; great cleanliness, great service. Room was 89/night with fireplace and two double beds. Guest service was beyond accommodating, and the facilities/transit to downtown was wonderful. Would stay again, planning to come back next year!

Friendly reception staff working 24/7. The window latch of one room was not working and despite being late at 10:00 p.m. and -17C/1F, someone came right away in a golf cart and fixed the problem in no time.
Although the resort was practically empty, they put someone above us. Noise was a big problem. The people above came back every night after 11:00 pm and ran around and talking loudly till 1-2 am. It was a tough week for us trying to sleep. We did not complain to the front desk though because we were too lazy to pack to move to a different room.
The swimming pool, in-door hot tub, out-door hot tub, sauna room were all great. The squash courts were first class. The free guided walking tours were really fun. We got to see awesome scenery.
The kitcken was fully equipped. We were really impressed by how complete everything was there for us to us. We cooked every meal for the whole week.
