You don't have much choice when you're travelling to Timmins, so you end up taking what you can get. This hotel has been around since the seventies and it shows. Hallways and Rooms are in need of an update. Given what they have to work with, the houskeeping staff did a good job, but the owner of this hotel really needs to replace the linens, drapes, carpets, and mini-fridges. The "recent upgrades" advertised on the internet must mean the newer microwave and coffee pot. A huge problem with this facility is that the room doors don't close properly and you need to slam them in order to lock the door, needless to say you won't get a good night rest at this hotel. Positives for this hotel; wireless internet works well, and the billings were accurate (no surprises on checkout, you pay exactly what you were quoted). Staff are friendly and try hard considering they don't have lot to work with.
