We stayed at Comwell Kellers Park Saturday till Sunday as my daughter had booked us as a present based on her previous great experiences here.
There is no doubt the location is one of the best in Denmark, we enjoyed walking the trails and the beautiful views of forest and sea. We also enjoyed the Aqua spa although it seemed the outdoor Jacuzzi had run out of steam so no bubbles and lukewarm water but the views and the drizzle made up for it, very enjoyable indeed.
I had the best professional shave I have ever had outside of the Middle East, can strongly recommend you visit the gents saloon for a shave.
What really disappointed was the dinner, we had heard great stories of the three course dinners served and was excited to try it out. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed for renovation, for some reason we were not informed when booking nor during check in. The only option was a grill buffet. For some reason buffet food seems like a discount option and as we ate at 8.30PM it seemed the waiting staff had run out of steam, service was very slack, we noticed a couple next to us sat for 30 minutes before being informed of the menu option and offered the wine list. Personally we had to ask for the meat section to be refilled as the beef and chicken looked like something that had sat...We stayed at Comwell Kellers Park Saturday till Sunday as my daughter had booked us as a present based on her previous great experiences here.

The buffet was never refilled unless a guest asked for an item to be refilled, and the cheese board looked like a disaster to say the least. Very very disappointed compared to our high expectations based on other reviews.
I will strongly recommend not to eat there till the kitchen is up and running again.
That said, rooms very large for Denmark, a pleasant surprise, although not what I would call 5 star luxury but perfectly adequate and comfortable beds.More
