Stayed here for the weekend when unfortunately a concert was on at Hope Estate. Room rate is inflated by approx $100 per night because of this.
We booked a Queen suite and picked up the key a little early as we had a lunch and dinner to attend before heading back to Potters. We were not able to access the room early. On our return, our bed had shrunk to a double but as it was late we could do nothing. Reported next morning to be told the bed had been broken by previous guest and they had no time to replace it! We should have been told of this at check in.
We were offered the option to change to a family suite for the second night but the bed in that room looked and felt like it was in need of replacement also so we decided to put up with the small but comfortable bed.
On check out, the manager, Michelle, offered us a credit of $100 without any question and with an apology, as we should have been notified of the problem.
We were very impressed that we didn't have to ask.
Complimentary full breakfast was very good and plentiful and the rooms were very quiet and comfortable.
Only negative is no fly screens so windows cannot be opened because of the mosquitoes, which necessitates aircon running all night.
