We stayed for two nights and our room (9) was a very large double aspect with beautifull views of the old mill (now a health Spa) on the river Tormes. Being an old monastery the rooms/cells were of stone so no problem with noise. Two fantastic nights sleep and a nice touch to have your beds turned down whilst you were out to dinner. Althoug Salamanca is just a short way down the road we decided to eat at the restaurant both nights. (no problem with drink driving!) Excellent food and lovely bottles of Riocha at brilliant prices. It must be good as we had to book in advance as local non resident Spanish people used it. it's worth doing the wine tasting which is on at about 17:00 hrs. This lasts for about an hour and a half. It is in Spanish but we were given printed translation which was very handy. The tour gets you into various buildings including a great hall where there are 100's of barrells of wine and a very impressive wine tasting area.
Breakfast had a great choice but at 15 euros each would get a bit steep for a family of 4. Suggest you pop into Salamanca where you would get it for far less. I really couldn't find fault with the Hacienda and I would definately stay there again.
