This is as good as it can get in Zone 1/2 London. The place is bigger than our Zone 1 hotels and the service is much better.

Pros:
- Close to tube
- Close to bus station
- Good service
- Great breakfast

Cons:
- Limited variety of food places nearby
- No lift
- No wifi in some rooms
- A few unfriendly staff

We have just returned from a 2 night last minute stay at the queens hotel and overall the hotel was very very clean, modern and provided us with free parking upon booking with them over the phone ! The hotel is opposite finsbury park and less than a 5 minute walk from the nearest underground and railway station which was great for us as it was 15 mins to the centre of London by tube ! We stayed in 2 rooms during our stay as the hotel was quite busy but we didn't mind as we got a discount for doing this ! Our first room was number 8 it was a double room which was quite small and compact but very clean and comfortable ! It was next to the main hotel corridor so it was a bit noisy in the mornings but not to bad ! Our 2nd room was a triple room number 11 which was much larger than a double but still had a compact but clean bathroom ! In both rooms tea and coffee making facilities were available with biscuits as well as a flat screen tv ! This room was very very noisy please pack ear plugs ! Noise from the next rooms could be heard as well as constant walking around, slamming doors and floorboards above creaking ! I didn't have a good nights sleep at all in this room ! Maybe some courtesy signs about guests and noise wouldn't go amiss ! Also the double bed in room 11 needs changing ASAP it's poor quality and you can feel the springs as soon as you sit on it ! We didn't have this problem in room 8 though the mattress was fine ! Breakfast in the morning is good, great service from the ladies in there ! You can choose from continental or full English. Tea, coffee and juices available and toast with a selection of jams on arrival. You can't moan at the breakfast that is included in the price you pay to stay at this hotel ! The breakfast room is light airy and welcoming.
Great hotel if your on a budget ! I would stay here again but I would pack earplugs as I am a light sleeper ! Fantastic cleaning standards and customer service just invest in new pillows and a mattress for room 11 !

Four of us stayed for 1night in the hotel in a family room, the accommodation is basic but having said that it was very well kept and very clean, the beds were very clean and comfortable, the room and bathroom also very clean along with the towels. Breakfast good and staff very friendly. Only down side is the hotel doesn't have a lift which could be an issue for some. Would definitely stay here again for weekend. Tube station very close. Area not brilliant ,but we knew that from reading other reviews. Good budget hotel.

Room tip: Good budget hotel

We visited Queens hotel last summer. The hotel was quite good but the room was little crowded for a family of 5 persons. Good access to city center with the underground. Nice green park just across the road.

We spent our last week in this hotel and we can confirm that is a very good place to stay for one or more nights. The hotel is connected to the metro and the bus so is really easy reach the city centre. You can choose from continental or English breakfast and the staff meet all your needs. The room was small but very clean and the staff is really nice. We are happy to suggest this hotel!
