With a lot of choice and having stayed in many of Galways hotels I thought Id give the Clayton a try mainly because it was close to Morans on the Weir where I planned on having dinner. I wasnt disappointed as the room was bright and modern with a nice bathroom.

All in all very satisfactory.

Stayed here a couple of times for work, lovely hotel great food, location wise its out of the city, you would either have to get a taxi or drive in its not walkable. There is some local shops around the hotel and is right at the start of the motorway to dublin. Just too far out of city

I stayed in this Hotel by chance, I had to attend training in Galway which was being held in the Clayton, so to save me time in the morning I booked a room. I have to say everything about my stay was plesent. The rooms are an excellent size, rooms & bathrooms were spotless. I have to say that the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and the in room entertainment is also fantastic, lots of stations to choose from and free internet on your tv. Great choice at breakfast and excellent service in the resturant and the bar. I have to attend more training at the end of February and I will be booking this hotel again.

returned to clayton for weekend. with my husband.minus the 3 kids this time.just love galway .been to this hotel 3 times .management have changed over the years..but the staff are fab ,stephine receptionist was excellent.we received a upgrade to a suite, due to pool being closed for repair of a pump..also we came on a super valu hotel sale deal.which was a fab offer.we also received free breakfast for our stay.what more could a person ask for.all the staff in this hotel are always polite .helpful.the bar staff keith ,michael,make great cocktails and pints.had bar food also it was lovley and presentation of foof was excellent.our weekend was made brilliant by everyone in the hotel.thank u all so much.
