I found the Kilkenny Traditional Music Trail on TA and based on the reviews decided to give it a try. Trisha, Eric and Ryan did not disappoint! We only went to two pubs because the third was too crowded that night and we ended up being a large group, but that was fine, they made up for it with more music. Trisha is so talented and obviously has a passion for what she does. I highly recommend Kilkenny Traditional Music Trail for anyone who wants to learn more about trad music and wants to experience a great evening of good craic.

We altered pur travel plans to join this tour and were so glad we did. Jo and Trish played a variety of wonderful music from toe tapping reels and jigs to mournful ballads all the while regaling us with humourous, interesting stories and info about Trad Irish. Don't miss this fabulous experience, in fact we would recommend you alter your plans so you can.

The Music Trail was so much fun! We loved the music, history, and stories that were told on our trail. We had our two children with us (7 and 4) and they had a great time as well. This is a must when in Kilkenny.

Tricia and Joe were fantastic, knowledgeable and funny. Tricia on the fiddle was absolutely amazing and Joe has a fantastic voice. The information about the music and traditions interesting and good insight into its role in their culture. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone going to Kilkenny or who is going to be in the area!!!!!
