We stayed for 1 night at this hotel recently.
We booked a delux club room, which meant our room was slightly larger than a standard room, had bathrobes and slipers too. We also asked for a quiet room, which I was pleased to see meant our room was set away from other rooms and behind a secondary locked door. So it was lovely and quiet all night.
The room also has air conditioning / heating as the windows don't open
The bathroom is a good size, with a separate shower (i.e. not over the bath) and nice toiletries with a free aromatherapy 'sleep spray' to spray on your pillow.
The Delux club room also gave us access to the club lounge which mean we could help ourselves to free soft drinks during the day (lemonade, coke, orange, tea, coffee etc) and then between 6 and 8pm help ourselves to free alcoholic and soft drinks and canapes (alcoholic drinks include beer, wine and cider), but this was a nice start to our evening out in Manchester.
The hotel is easy to find, just off the ring road, and as others have stated there is a public car park opposite that costs £10 for 24 hours.
We had breakfast on arrival the first day at a cafe next door to the hotel called Cafe North - great little cafe with a good size breakfast menu. Very tasty.
The second morning we had breakfast included in our hotel rate.
The resteraunt is nice at the hotel, very light and airy, you serve yourself with cereal and fruit plus fruit juice, then the cooked breakfast is buffet style also.
My only criticism of this hotel would be the cooked breakfast - as with most buffet style breakfasts - it gets cold quickly and wasn't that enjoyable.
Overall a nice hotel and I would definately stay again booking a delux club room and using the club lounge.
