We stayed two nights - me, my wife and our adult son. Anna had to book the hotel by phone, in French, as they did not speak English and we could find no web based way to book from outside France. So it was a truly French experience. The hotel itself is a lovely old 15C coaching inn - very picturesque. The rooms were good, considering the price, which was very reasonable (50 euros for the three of us). Breakfast was also good, and cheap - a basic French petite dejeuner. The bar/restaurant next door (L'Estimanet) was also very good, reasonably priced and quite French. Beaulieu-les-Loches is a lovely little town in its own right, and the walk to Loches itself (very much worth seeing) is not too long - less than a kilometer.
