My Husband and I stayed with Sue and Andrew at their lovely B&B for 4 days in early April of 2006. It was by far one of the highlights of our 3 1/2 week vacation in France.
Their home is a totally private, converted 15th century Watermill with a heated swimming pool, seven acre garden, a very large pond, and five lively and very beautifully decorated bedrooms.
We were imeadtaely made to feel at home by our hosts, and enjoyed two masterfully prepared dinners by Andrew that were among the some finest meals we've had in France.
After a day of heavy driving and sightseeing, their home was a haven to return to. We were able to completely unwind and enjoy the calmness of their property. Truly a gift to cherish, when one lives in Los Angeles.
We stayed in one of their finest rooms, with unbelievable views form all windows.
On our last evening with them, they invited some of their local friends to join us for dinner. It was a very lively time, and and experience I will not forget.
If we return to Loches, we will stay here again!
