We spend a weekend in Reims, France, and discovered this B&B through Tripadvisor. And we must say that all the good reviews are very well earned. Situaded well in the center of town, but is a quiet little street, a wonderfull old house with high ceilings and wooden floors.
We stayed in the "Les Jemaux" room and it was large, comfortable, nice beds and a ensuite bathroom with a superb rainshower.
If I really have to give some remarks, and now I'm being very severe, it would only be to give the maximum of information to possible visitors.
*There is no TV in the room, we don't mind at all, but maybe some people would like that.
*Eventhough they asked us in advance when we would arrive so they could accomodate us upon arrival, and we clearly stated we would arrive at about 13h, when we got there we could not get in the room before 17h, so we had to wander around town for about 4 houres before we could change into more comfortable clothes and take a shower.
*Breakfast is very nice to French standards, fresh orange juice, croissants, applesause, bagette, but is remains a French breakfast, and if you, like we, don't have a sweet tooth, it is all a bit oversugared. Just a little slice of cheese or ham or an egg would have made a big difference for us. But as I mentioned, these are details.
The lady of the house is very helpfull and will pass you all the information you need, including a city map and a road map if you want to do the Champagne touristic drive.
Parking in the area can be a bit tricky, on demand you can rent the garage of the owner.
