We celebrated my wife’s birthday here. Like all Paris Starwood hotels (except the Westin which I would not recommend – mostly because of their indifferent security) they treated us great, fully recognizing my Starwood Platinum status and upgrading us to the largest & best (though slightly in need of refurbishing - which I understand they are currently doing) 2 room suite we have had in Paris. Each room had a full bath & flat panel TV. Service was great & we loved the buffet breakfast that included champagne and caviar!

I stay at Prince de Galles whenever I go to Paris ,and disliked almost everything on my last visit !
The hotel was empty during my stay ,due to weather/air traffic problems ,I had booked superior rooms and was assigned the smallest ,oldest superior rooms i ever had in all my stays there ,with peeling wall paper , broken handles ,scratched furniture etc..and when I called the front desk to tell them about the rooms condition ,I was offered other rooms at addicional 240 euros/night ,in an empty hotel! no apology whatever !
A luxury collection hotel should not have rooms in such condition !

Great, classic hotel in Paris. I can't remember the last time (if ever) that the front desk attendant personally showed me to my room. The Champagne Suite (which we were upgraded to as Platinum SPG members) was beautifully appointed and immaculately cared for. The bathroom had the most (and highest quality) amenities I've ever seen. The windows opened onto the street below and had wonderful flower boxes. The amazing service didn't stop when we checked out, either. I left my glasses in our suite and the staff sent them to me back in NY via FedEx. When this hotel re-opens, I'll be back for sure. Best Starwood in Paris and one of the best of the Luxury Collection anywhere.

This is our second consecutive year that we celebrateour anniversary at this hotel. Paris, Paris, waht else can be said about this wonderful city that it already has not been said, but for the staff of this hotel, without a single exception, i can not say enough: profesional, friendly, caring,attentative.... from the doorman to the chambermaid. All I can really say is thanks to each one and all of the great staff.
