“Very noisy room, lots of things didn't work properly”

Ninety nine per cent of my reviews are very positive but this hotel let me down. I had what was apparently a superior room, 301 on the front of the hotel. The very busy road outside made it seem like you had a motorway next to your bed and personally I couldn’t sleep with the racket. They said they were ful and couldn't move me so I had three very restless nights, traffic only seemed to slow down around two or three am for a couple of hours.

The room was reasonably clean but lots of things didn't work properly. The TV came on for five seconds, then off, then back on again then off again, this was fixed when I mentioned it to reception. The lamp next to the bed had a dodgy wire that if you moved it you could find a way it kept the lamp on but if you knocked it the lamp went off. The shower head grip didn't work so unless you held it the shower was at belly height on me, without me askign this was fixed for the final night though.

It is a great location for me since I was arriving at Gare Du Nord and working locally too but it is not an ideal place for tourists at all.

Room Tip: Try ot get a room at the back away from the road !!!

Our hotel is located 5 minutes from the Gare du Nord (the first transit station in Europe). Despite our double glazed windows (completely renovated in 2010), we are in a vibrant and very alive district including evenings. Of 47 rooms, 12 rooms are on the back side. The category requested by our client being the CLUB, it's only on the street. With 6 floors, the room was on the 3 rd floor. Unfortunately that night we were full and the late arrival does not allow us to propose another room to our client. Repairs were made the next day, our technical department is open from 7 am to 7 pm . We present our apologies for the inconvenience and thank our customers to say that 99% was perfect

“Tiny room very close to train station”

Hotel is located a stones throw from the gare du nord train station. In a semi shady neighborhood, but very accessible public transit. Hotel staff nice and English speaking. Room was below average, but adequate for sleeping. No shower curtain, room falling apart literally. Not much more room than the uncomfortable bed. Free low speed wifi. Charge for high speed. Good choice for a late night train arrival. But only for 1 night, far from most attractions. They have a luggage room u can use on the last day before train. Free breakfast was ok. There is a great lebanese restraunt about 1 block NE on rue fayette called aux Cedres du nord( excellent English speaking staff and great menu).

“The perfect base for a short stay in Paris”

Booked with LateRooms.com on a three nights for the price of two deal (including breakfast) at this delightful hotel which is a few minutes walk from Gare du Nord Station. From the warmth of the welcome to the cleanliness and beautiful presentation of the room, our first impressions were very favourable. A really comfortable bed, a spotless modern bathroom, tea and coffee supplies and free wi-fi all made for an excellent stay. The metro station a few minutes from the hotel made journeys into the centre of Paris very easy, and the tourist information centre under the glass roof of Gare du Nord, manned by helpful and knowledgeable staff, was also close at hand. The breakfast was very good - hot and cold choices, coffee, juice, cereals, etc and the staff were helpful and friendly. There were even complementary newspapers to enjoy over the toast, jam and croissants! Our short stay in Paris was very enjoyable despite the extreme early February cold, and this hotel was an absolute gem. I would happily return, and wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

“great place”

Very good stay here last week - very clean (beds changed every other day), well equipped including hair dryer and tea and coffee making, very friendly, extensive breakfast buffet, safe boxes available via reception, superb location near to railway and underground. Could not understand other critics who raised concerns about surrounding area - we found it full of great restaurants, bars and friendly people, certainly not intimidating. Short walk to Montmartre and Sacre-Coeur. All other attractions either walkable or take underground/buses. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Rear rooms away from road are quieter

“A good 3-star for Paris”

This hotel is conveniently located by Gare du Nord. We stayed there as it is on the RER line which is one of the options to go to the airport. The staff is friendly. The room was clean and quiet despite its location. We had a room with a small balcony. We will defenitely stay there on our next trip.
