This was a lovely hotel and suited a family with excellent parking facilities. The staff were very helpful and local cafes nice, however, you need to catch the metro into the city itself and with children it would certainly be more helpful to have a hotel in a central location. The daytripper bus leaves from near hotel and is a great way to see Paris with a family.

The location of this hotel is great, close to 2 different lines metro stations, to train station, Lafayette Montparnasse. We walked to Jardin de Luxembourg, Pantheon, Saint Sulpice, Saint Germain des Pres, Notre Dame, and we love all that streets and boulevards. It's a very good point to start all daily expeditions in the wonderful city of lights. The hotel stuff is very nice and helpful, breakfast was excellent with all pastries and natural juice, selection of cheese and salami, but the coffee could be better. Rooms spacious enough, beds very good to rest after a hard day. The heating system was good, for November the temperature inside was just fine. If we'll go in Paris again, I will choose this hotel for the offered services and location.

What can we say? We have travelled the world over the years and believe that we have the knowledge and experienced to give an unbiased comment about this category of hotel. Our expectations ,in terms of location,service,quality and of course the cost ,were met in all departments. An ideal hotel for those wishing to visit Paris.for a few days.
If we decide to return again to Paris in the future then the Mecure will be at the top of our hotel selection list.

I know france is expensive but this hotel had no closet, or coffee maker. minimal amenities.

The morning breakfast was excellent.

Their is a lovely white church on the hill. The hotel up their, has an outside lounge w/ a beautiful view of paris and eiffel tower.

no shopping for clothes in this area.
