My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in July (yes, I am tardy getting this review done...). We really enjoyed our stay. We arrived on one of the hottest days of the summer which was a most unpleasant start for this leg of our trip. After hiking a bit to get a tram, I misread the map directions and Google maps didn't cooperate. We called the hotel and Sebastian gave us directions. After still missing something, we finally arrived to finding Sebastian outside waiting for us. He offered up a nice cold adult beverage as we checked in. As is the way, there is no air conditioning but they had placed a fan in the room. This was greatly appreciated. The room was very nice with plenty of room and nice furnishings. The bathroom was a good size as well. Breakfast was nicely done. We found the location to be a great in a nice quiet neighborhood. Tram and S-bahn stops are in close proximity. A great French restaurant is just 2 blocks away. Highly recommend Hotel Laimer Hof! Would definitely stay again.

I cannot say enough good things about the Laimer Hof. The owners are such lovely people who go out of their way to make sure that you are not only enjoying your stay in their hotel but also enjoying your time in Munich. They are always willing to give recommendations for places to eat and things to see and none of their recommendations disappointed. We will definitely be back at the Laimer Hof the next time we are in Munich!

We stayed in the hotel's family room which was comfortable, with two sofa beds for our teenage children. The hotel is very pleasant and is in a great part of Munich, with plenty to see within close walking distance.
The outstanding feature of the hotel though, is the service and the welcome you receive. We were helped by three members of staff on reception, who gave us advice on our train tickets and days out and booked us a table at the local brewhouse, which was fantastic. They could not have been more friendly or helpful.
On our last day, we were due to pick up a hire car locally and as we were about to set off, we noticed on our paperwork that the hire company closed an hour earlier than we had thought and that we would struggle to get there in time. Sebastian overheard us and immediately left what he was doing and drove us to the car hire office in his jeep, otherwise we would never have made it. He could not have been more charming about it. I don't think you could find nicer people to stay with in the whole of Munich and we certainly hope to be back at some point.

Room tip: The family suite on the ground floor represents good value for a night in Munich for four people.

Stayed here for 3 nights, perfect location! Could not ask for more welcoming and helpful staff. Sebastian was great! This hotel deserves it's high rating. Highly recommend to all. Great location beside Nymphenburg Palace, definitely check out the Botanic Gardens.

Spent an enjoyable weekend at this hotel. It's location is perfect, a short walk to Schloss Nymphenburg and a short tram ride to the centre of Munich. We drove here from the airport, it was easy to find and easy to park.
The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast is a buffet with plenty to choose from. The best thing about the hotel is the personal service. Whilst the owners/employees are not in your face, they are there when you need them. They recommended a brilliant restaurant and secured us a booking at late notice on a busy Saturday night.
