I booked this hotel primarily because of a very good price (35 EUR/single room with breakfast). It was a real bargain; however, I would be hesitant to pay more than 50 EUR considering hotel's location.

To get to the hotel, one can take bus 30 that has a stop almost in front of the hotel. Getting to/from the city center (Konstablerwachte) takes about 15-20 minutes depending on the traffic. As of August 2010, there have been major repairs along the route, so budgeting extra time is essential.

The main hotel's entrance does not have a sign for "Best Western" but instead a sign for its restaurant "Alexander." The check-in and out was fast and painless. The room was relatively large with a 3-5 years old furniture, but well kept and clean. On a downside, this is one of very few 4-star hotels that does not have a mini-bar/fridge in the room. However, one could ask to store wine in the fridge at the reception. There is also a small sauna and a room with some sports equipment that are basic but sufficient for those who wish to stretch their muscles just a bit.

The bathroom was clean and functional with all necessary amenities. However, what continues to puzzle me is the lack of the curtain in the shower. This causes a lot of water spill while showering and by far, adds extra work for cleaning maids.

Overall, a very good option if the price is right.

I totally enjoyed the friendly and caring service at the hotel and the restaurant. the breakfast buffet is the best, everything is extremely delicious. the room was absolutely fine, it was cleaned every day and was very cosy in itself. parking is free of charge. I recommend this hotel to everyone loving comfort.

This hotel is a superb choice for the price. FREE breakfast includes hot items such as omelets made to order, roasted tomatoes with local cheese and smoked salmon. It was a joy to start the day each morning to such an array of delights. Room is spotless clean, comfy beds and easily accessible business center. Front desk staff, SO nice and accomidating!! (Restaurant of the same name located across the street, delecious~good vegetarian options!!!)Not quite in the center of town but public bus stop is right across the street. As someone who travels internationally who is sometimes hard to please, Best Western's Hotel Friedberger Warte, Frankfurt is a treasure. If travels take me to Frankfurt again I wouldn't stay anywhere else!!

Very clean, large room, very good location near the ring road. Too many choices for breakfast. Free parking.
