I would raher define it as a Guesthouse, somewhere stuck in the 80s ..run by a family. i found it on booking.com as a good deal for a night stay to visit Kassel and surrounding with my partner. the rooms are basic clean and tidy .... not modern but good enough to stay for a night. The absolute plus is really very quiet loacation inbetween hills and woods ... the room can be made really dark witch in our case was realy good. The Hotel is situated slightly of center, but close to the seightseeing and the Thermal bath spa . If your are looking for a no thrll budget stay i can recomand it. Breakfast is basic but rich and tasty ...wit seasonal and local products.
No wifi but LAN . bring your own cable or ask if you can lend one at the reception.
