Just finished a perfect weekend at this hotel. The staff was friendly like Rafael at the front desk and at the restaurant our daily waiter Ricardo. Room was perfect being the junior suite. Big bathroom and big king size bed. The beach in front is small but perfect for relaxing. This hotel is the only one with balinese beds to rent and well worth it. Food good. Friendly staff. Clean room. Great price. Loved the hot tub on the roof because the water is cool and nice to sit in at night. Will definitely come again. Thanks for perfect stay.

Checked in and only a rear room was available but the next morning they were kind enough to move us to a small family unit a few doors down and it was very nice with walk out the front door beach access. The hotel was very nice and clean but we wanted a view of the beach, The restaurant at the hotel is very good and if you go be sure to try the little burger on the menu it is to die for. Food, service and property very nice, highly recommend!!

Room tip: try to be early, beach view rooms are on first come first serve basis.

Located in Pedregalejo a lovely area outskirts of Malaga, very lively with lots of cocktail bars and restaurants. Right in front of the beach, the front rooms have a great view. Small, clean and confortable room with a decent bathroom (shower). The hotel was refurbished so it has now a modern look and the bar is popular among locals attracted by the beers served in a bucket with ice and accompanied by popcorn, olives,... Staff was friendly and helpful.
You can get to Malaga city centre by bus during the day or take a taxi at night for 10-15 euros however in summer Pedregalejo is one of the most popular areas for an evening/night out.

Just spent five nights in La Chancla in a room on the top floor and the shower is big enough for two. The roof terrace with hot tub is great with a fantastic view of the sea. During the night I only heard the sea. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Most only speak Spanish so watch out for misunderstandings if you have to communicate in English. The sea front is full of cafés and restaurants.... and dogs. Only twenty minutes to Malaga by bus so you can mix seaside with culture. There are small shops and a large supermarket close by.

A very small hotel on the outskirts of Malaga. Rooms small, but very clean. Front rooms have a great view of the sea and beach. Although these rooms are over the bar, I was not disturbed as any noise is drowned out by the sound of the sea lapping on the sand.

The bar downstairs is very popular and I had two great breakfasts and a massive lunch. It wasn't full of English speaking tourists, which I think is great as when I go away I want to experience the language and the culture of the country I am visiting.

I stayed there as was visiting family who lived nearby . However it was probably only a ten minute bus journey in to the centre of Malaga. The buses are frequent and reasonable priced. Malaga is an interesting city to visit. If you stay at this hotel on the edge of the town, you can ,after a hard day exploring have a soak in their hot tub on the roof. Or watch the world go by with a drink in hand as the sun sets over the sea.

Room tip: Ask for a sea view room. Would be disappointed if didn't have one.
