“The most helpful front desk!”

The rooms are clean and simple but a little cramped. For a 3 star property, it matched the standard expected.

Help desk is very friendly, cheerful and was extremely helpful. We felt very welcome there and they even had a person assigned to park our car (sorely lacking in a lot of 4 star properties in Spain)

Location is good and near the shopping area and main plaza. Do call ahead for the parking as their garage is extremely small.

“Very friendly staff. Service is up to American standards.”

We stayed at Duaro Hotel for two nights and it was quiet pleasant. We had a triple room. It was a bit small, but very clean and we had two TV sets. Bathroom was dated and the hair dryer was old and broken. The room service was a nice surprise tho. We stayed in four other similar hotels during our trip in Spain it was the only one, that offered that kind of food and drink service. The best part of our stay at Duaro was the receptionist service. They were just so pleasant and helpful, which is quite rare in Europe in general. Everything was in walking distance main sightseeing, restaurants, clubs and even the famous Alhambra wasn't too far away. Although we did not make it inside the Alhambra(order tickets two weeks in advance) , but did not give up and visited some of the free off charge and no line buildings in the same complex such as The Palace of Charles V , some panoramic views and etc...

“Good value and helpful receptionists.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 October 2011

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in July via a special offer with travelzoo.es. Very central, Fantastic memory foam beds and pillows and quiet air conditioning. Quiet too for rooms overlooking a very busy road, windows must have been double glazed. Everything was in walking distance except the Alhambra which was 10 minutes by taxi. No pool but not something everyone wants in a city hotel when there is so much to do.

“Excellent location, nice and clean and a helpful staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2011

I liked this hotel very much. The staff speak English and if you need tickets for Alhambra, they book it for you. They are very nice and helpful to their guests. The hotel is clean and the location is perfect, we could walk to most of the attractions and there are many restaurants and a big department store (EL Corte ingles) nearby. The bed are comfortable and the air conditioner are quiet (Granada is hot specially in summer). They also have a FREE wi-fi and a small park.

“Value for Money - Great Location”

I travelled with 2 friends for a weekend away in Granada staying 2 nights at this hotel. The room while small for a triple was clean, comfy beds, fresh towels, and the hotel in a great location. You could walk to the centre of Granada in 10 mins and it had 2 buses which ran to the central bus station stopping outside it's door.

The reception staff were knowledgeable on the area, willing and able to help with any question we had from restaurants to bus times to things to do in the area.

Would definitely recommend this hotel to couples or friends travelling.
