This hotel is perfectly located for restaurants, shopping and sight seeing. My wife and I walked for hours per day all over Barcelone but from this hotel we were always close to a lot of interesting things to do. I can strongly recommend this hotel for an extended weekend in Barcelona.

Surprised my wife with a birthday trip and looked online for quite a while to find the right hotel. H10 Montcada did not disappoint. Great location - El Gotic and the Born are 2 fantastic areas to wander around, the metro is within 100 meters and Las Ramblas is a 5-10 minute walk. The staff was quite friendly and very helpful with directions and recommendations for sightseeing, markets, etc. Free Wifi throughout the hotel and the rooms were clean and included a safe although there was no electric kettle. Great views from the roof. Unfortunately, didn't get a chance to use the hot tub or fitness center. Some reviewers have complained about the noise from the street but we were on the first floor near the front and it didn't bother us. Will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here 3rd to 6th January and after extensive research on the hotel we were not disappointed. Check-in was speedy and efficient with glass of champagne. We had requested a bath, not shower, but only requested a high floor on check-in. The staff were very accommodating and our requests were met. Room very comfortable, clean and bathroom spacious and modern with complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Location was excellent and within walking distance of all the attractions. We took the train from the airport to central Barcelona station (about 40mins) and then the underground - two stops on the yellow line to Jaume 1. Station exit was directly opposite the hotel. Cost of return train/metro was just over 9 Euro for both of us. Excellent value for money. This was our first visit to Barcelona but we shall certainly visit again and will certainly use the same hotel. Well done to all the staff at the Montcada for making our visit enjoyable.

We stayed here to start our honeymoon trip through Europe.

The location is great and the rooms we comfortable and modern.

We used the spa on the roof which was expensive for the hour but well worth it. It came with two free cocktails which I think were almost pure alcohol and was a great way to relax.

The only down side is the rooms were small for the cost and as we stayed for 5 days it started to feel a bit closed in. It would be great for weekend breaks though.

The city is well worth visiting with plent to do and great places to eat.
