We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights in May. I chose this hotel for its location based on some of the reviews I read. It is quite central and within walking distance to the main core and near to 2 subway lines. However, after having been there a couple of days I did find the 15 to 20 minute walk from Catalunya a bit tiring after having been on our feet all day. The subway (metro) is a 10 minute walk to either of the stations.
The service was friendly and the staff very accommodating.
We opted to take a room that included breakfast which was sufficient to keep us going to mid afternoon tapas. They will cook eggs to order if requested. However, from other reviews I see that a la carte they charge 12 euro per person which is a little expensive for what they offer. Within a stones throw there are numerous cafes that offer all types of breakfast for a few euros.
The hotel is kept spotless.
All in all this is a very nice hotel and in quite a good location for the price.
