We spent a week in this hotel in January. The hotel is located near the Termini station and it´s easy to get around Rome from there. The neighborhood was quiet and had many nice little restaurants to choose from. The staff was overwhelmingly friendly! We had a larger room with a tiny balcony to the garden, which was small but beautiful in the evenings. The room was clean and the bathroom was heated (that´s a must in winter:) I´d advise the ladies take their own shampoos & stuff, the hotel amenities were not so abundant. The breakfast was a basic hotel breakfast. I´d recommend this hotel, excellent location and price.

Above average for this type hotel and location. Certainly if one uses the main train station in Rome it is very close. Very clean and quiet. The breakfast is excellent for this type hotel. One could hope for little more in this type and price of accommodation

Room tip: Internet and wi fi will cost you a little more per day.

Before my mother's death I took her to Italy for trip my travel agent suggested this hotel being from New York Astoria Gardens didn't seem to be the top name on my list however upon arrival you get the feeling of the best homecoming you have received. The hotel was run like a bed-and-breakfast and the owner took special care of my mother even going out of his way to send us off on a trip around the city because my mother took ill and did not have the opportunity to see what she wanted to see. So he arranged to have her see all the places she had missed before we left for a evening flight back to United States I cannot say more pleasant things about the owners and their kindness and they turned the trip to something that my mother was very happy to have experienced before she died thank you so very much. My travel to this hotel was in to the year 2000 I could not put the true date due to info limitations however I've wanted to give have a review so people can see going back 13 years has been. Perhaps one day when I have the opportunity to go back to Italy I can stay at the same hotel. The proximity to walking locations is great deal, pastry shops the bus terminal the train terminal which takes you all around Rome.

Room tip: Book early... There is no pool here I could not remove selection

Astoria Garden is a lovely hotel with extremely kind staff and clean rooms. Breakfast is not abundant, but it's ok. I would recommend this hotel to all the travelers who are willing to stay in Rome both for business or pleasure. Since Termini station is only 600 m away, it is easy to reach any attraction.

Astoria Garden is a very nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed here 4 nights in October. A very friendly and professional staff. Nice room, though a little tiny. Very clean, we'll maintained. I thought it a little pricey, but not bad considering it is Rome. Easy range to wheel your luggage to & fro Termini Station. Eat at Taverna Pretoriana around the block from the hotel. I'd definitely stay here again.
