We stayed at the condotti suites for 3 nights, they are located near the Spanish Steps. The suites where very Clean, roomy and quiet. This is located near Via Condotti where all the designer stores are (ie. Gucci, Versace,Prada). In our building the dressmakers for Versace work. They only have 6 suites they are run by the Caffarelli Family. The staff they hired are wonderful. The best of all was Desi, She was very helpful to all of us and we were a party of 10 people. She spoke good english and gave us many suggestions and helpful tips on seeing Rome. She arranged for a private tour of the Vatican, with wheelchair for my 80yr old Mother.
We will surely stay their again, If our trip permits. There is a minumum 3night stay. You can contact them at Rome Central Suites. Or Italy [----------------].

The Suite Condotti is an oasis in a lively part of Rome. Situated in one of the small streets leading to the Spanish Steps, it is in the heart of the shopping area with many a cafe or bar nearby to add to the atmosphere. The double glazed windows and shutters in the luxuriously furnished air-conditioned rooms, however, provide a relaxing place to rest and unwind before heading out to explore Rome by night.

Conveniently located to the "must sees" in Rome, we walked just about everywhere and felt quite safe walking back in the evenings from the Piazza Navona and surrounds.

Although the room rates are not inexpensive, the Suite Condotti is good value by Roman standards and the room and bathroom were beautifully appointed with personal touches. I will definitely try to stay there again when I am next in Rome.

This was our first visit to Rome and September seems to be an ideal month for sightseeing. One of our reason for choosing the Suite Condotti was its location and we were not disappointed. It is family run establishement situated at 48 Via dei Condotti, with the Spanish Steps at one end of the street and the Via del Corso at the other.

Walking to St Peter's and the Vatican took about 30 minutes, while the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Vittorio Emanuele Monument are much closer. The Colosseum and Circo Massimo are also about half an hour's walk with the Forum and Palatine Hill on route.

Our room, which was one of only four, was nicely appointed looking exactly as on the web site. The bed was extremely comfortable and although there was no tub in the marble bathroom there was an excellent large shower cubicle and ample towels. Breakfast was served in room and comprised of juice, crossiant, cereals, toast and coffee. The managements English was as good as our Italian never the less we were able to communicate and they were more than willing to cope with our very late check in and check out times.

At 200 euros we thought it was a bit expensive, but visiting Rome doesn't come cheap, therefore we would have no problem with staying in this accomodation again. Although for us the location was ideal, if you are a light sleeper and go to bed early maybe you should look for something in the suburbs.

We had a double room, in this converted apartment, original wooden beams on ceiling, luxurious furnishings, a fantastic bathroom , with spa bath ( really appreciated after a long day walking)The central location is great 5 mins from the Spanish Steps, 15 mins from Piazza Navona.The staff were very friendly and helpful. with the help of my phrase book Italian. Breakfast is brought to your room, any time until 10.am, so no need to rise early.We stayed at the Intercontinental on our last visit, but much preferred the Suite Condotti as you receive a more personal service.I would recommend this hotel if you do not require your hotel to have a bar or restaurant (not really a requirement in a city like Rome)
