We stayed at B&B Benelli in December and had an absolutely lovely time in Bologna, because of our gracious host, Roberta. B&B Benelli is conveniently located to the historic area and great restaurants (all recommended by Roberta). Our room was beautiful, immaculate and comfortable. We were greeted each morning with out-of-this-world breakfasts Roberta prepared that included home-made yogurt, fruit compote, cakes, cookies, cereal, jam, breads, and on and on. When we arrived, she had prepared a list of sites we might want to visit along with an annotated map and helped us find everything we wanted to see. As other reviewers have noted, it was like staying with a friend and personal guide. We so enjoyed meeting Roberta and getting to know her and her beloved city. We hope to visit Roberta and Bologna again. Our heartfelt thanks to Roberta!

We stayed with Roberta for three nights and I can trully say that Roberta and her B & B certainly lived up to the reviews on this website. Our room was spacious, very clean and came with its own lovely bathroom and our own front door. Breakfast was delicous. Roberta makes her own cakes, biscuits, fruit compote and yoghurt and it tastes wonderful. She is very welcoming and tells you about lots of local events, interesting places, shops and restaurants. It is like staying with a friend or your own personal guide. We had such a wonderful time in Bologna. Thank you Roberta.

We stayed with Roberta for two nights in her divine B&B. The location was perfect and Roberta was an absolute gem. We were treated like visiting friends in the gorgeous bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast was like no other that we experienced the whole 5 weeks we were in Italy. Fresh, home cooked and lovingly prepared by Roberta. Every morning there was something different - What a gorgeous way to start each day. Her tips for restaurants were spot on as well as her suggestions on sightseeing. We spent two nights in B&B Benelli. We can highly recommend the accommodation. The B&B is walking distance to the historic centre. The room is spacious and bright. We appreciated the fresh fruit, chocolates and bottled water left in our room. Even more pleasing was the personal attention we were paid by our host Roberta. She laid out a fabulous breakfast and treated us to homemade dishes. We enjoyed spending time talking with Roberta. One of the reasons we like to stay in bed and breakfast accommodations is because we find our visit is often richer. Roberta gave us much information about the city and great tips on where to eat.
