“Great little hotel in Rimini”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 December 2011

We were in Rimini for a conference in September 2011 and chose to stay in a premium room in the Hotel Life overlooking Rimini’s beachfront.

The hotel itself was a quaint little hotel and the staff really went out of their way to help us at some really strange hours.

The room was reasonably sized and beautifully decorated with wooden floors and wonderful finishes. We were not particularly worried about where we were staying as we were spending very little time in the hotel as a result of the long hours spent at the conference.

This being said, it was a really great base, close to the Rimini Fair Grounds and convention centre. A big thanks goes out to Andreas, the night concierge for giving us a wonderfully warm welcome whenever we returned to the hotel late at night.

The buffet breakfasts were very nice and we would definitely stay in the hotel again if we returned to Rimini.

Well done and thanks for the great experience.

Room Tip: Makes sure you get a sea facing Premium room

“Only average, nothing more.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 August 2011

I stayed here at the end of June, and both myself and my boyfriend were disappointed. At the time of booking we knew there were no more renovated rooms available, so we went with one of the older rooms. Knowing this we didn't have high hopes, but we were still disappointed with the condition of the room. There were patches of mold on the carpet and a few cracks in the wall. The AC didn't work for the first few days but it was fixed by one of the members of staff. We had a small balcony looking onto the seafront which was a plus. The pool was nice but once or twice became overcrowded with just a small amount of people. The beach is located in front of the hotel and there are a lot of facilities nearby for children.
One of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the fitness center, which was modern but with little choice of weights and machines. There were some light free weights, three cardio machines and a lat pull-down. The breakfast offered a good choice of food and beverages. Overall it wasn't good value for money, and the room could not have been up to the standards required of hotels.

Room Tip: Do not go for a room that has not been renovated. The room was in awful condition but the renovated...

“Bad experience of Hotel Life double booking rooms”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 July 2011

We arrived late to find that all the rooms in the hotel were full at hotel life. The person on the desk could not speak any English and said we did not have a booking. After showing him the booking and booking receipt on our computer he told us that they did not receive the booking.
He then put us in a room the size of a shoe box even though we had booked a room for four people. When we complained about this he rang the owner who then turned up and told us that we had no booking.
At around 2am we finally put ourselves to bed in the shoe box. The owner said it was not her fault the hotel was fully booked. Next morning we went to check out and the owner said that she now had rooms for 4 people. She also said that she had the booking from booking.com for three nights. Somehow it had got lost in her in box.
What they did at Hotel Life is double book the rooms. They are dishonest, unfriendly, rude people and I would not recommend anyone to stay at their hotel. I am sure this is a poor business practice they have deployed more than once.

“Lovely time at Hotel Life”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 September 2009

We stayed here on the first leg of our holiday in Italy. The hotel is not in Rimini, it's on the outskirts of the town in a districk called Viserbella. The hotel is really nice, basic to a certain degree however very clean and provides great food. The room we had was recently decortated, it was really nice though a little on the small side but that we overlooked for the short duration of our stay. The bathroom, in particluar the shower room was great! Socially it was quiet at night, the surrounding area was just coming out of the holiday season, so it was quiet all round. The previous week or so, it would have been a lot busier, but we didn't mind! Made it into the city center of Rimini one of the nights, about 15euro in a taxi. Well worth a visit...
