We stayed here for 5 nights while visiting family in Florence. This small 3 star hotel, right next to the Ponte Vecchio is a real gem. A look at the pictures of the hotel will show you that the owners have resisted going down the 'boutique' look, will all the minimalism that carries with it. Instead they have stayed with the traditional Italian look and you feel you are right there in someone's private home. There is a lovely lounge, with squishy sofas and a fabulous view of the River Arno and the Ponte Vecchio. There is a pretty little dining room for breakfast with views over tho the Doumo, and also a roof terrace for relaxing. The rooms are comfortable and our request for a quiet one was met. The large bathroom, although perfectly clean, was a bit old and could have used a revamp to include shower cubicle that didn't soak the floor! But I long ago decided that if hoteliers didn't want wet floors, they would install good shower cubicles, and don't any more worry myself about water getting everywhere The breakfast is good enough for a 3 star hotel, though there is a bit of a knack to getting hot drinks and hot food that we worked out by the second morning. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I wold not hesitate to stay here again and I wold not hesitate to recommend it to others. And there are not a lot of hotels I would say that about.

This truly is one of the finest small hotels in Florence with a superb location and amazing staff!
We stayed over three nights with our bridal party and were very sad to leave.
JOLANDA and the rest of the team do a brilliant job making every guest feel very welcome from the moment you check in.
The rooms are charming... Good size with excellent bathrooms and very nice furnishings.
The breakfast each morning is generous and served in a sunlit room overlooking Tuscan rooftops.
The rooftop terrace is the perfect spot for evening aperitifs.
We look forward to returning again in the near future!

This is a wonderful small hotel with a warm atmosphere and helpful staff located a few steps away from Ponto Vecchio. It has a beautiful rooftop terrace with a garden and great views. There is a very nice lounge with a bar. The room and bed were clean and comfortable and breakfast excellent. The furnishings are beautifully replete with antiques. There are 8-10 steps to negotiate to access the lift and the reception is on the fifth of six floors with all rooms below.

Room tip: Hope to have a Ponte Vecchio view

This hotel lies very close to the Ponte Vecchio in the Heart of Florence. The rooms are small but very comfortable and ours had a jacuzzi! An excellent breakfast was served on a pretty roof terrace from which we could just see the Duomo. It was also a bar later in the day.

The staff were excellent and helpful, especially as we didn't arrive until 21.50 on a Saturday night. We'll certaily go back

Room tip: The higher floors are better
