An excellent hotel in the centre of Amsterdam. It is about 30mins drive from the airport.
The service is first rate, and staff are exceedingly friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little on the small side. It is not a purpose built hotel so depending on the room you may have to go up or down a few stairs to get to your room once you leave the lift/elevator. Unfortunately, you do hear noises from other rooms and outside, so be aware if you are a light sleeper, or sensitive to noise.
Breakfast is a buffet, and was not outstanding. Also, the food in the restaurant for dinner was average too.
Overall it is a great hotel, but don't expect excessive luxury.
Room Tip: Canal facing rooms have the best view, but can be noisy.

Dear Valued Guest,
Thank you very much for your highly valued feedback. I am glad to read you have experienced great service from our ambassadors and they were able to serve you to your satisfaction. Furthermore, I am sorry to read the food was not entirely op to your expectations. Please be informed that we have discussed your comments with the Food & Beverage Department. As we are a hotel consisting of 25 authentic canal houses, all our rooms differ in size and shape. Consequently, the lay- out of the hotel does not have the logic like you would expect from a purpose built hotel. However, we believe that this is part of Hotel Pulitzer's charm. I hope we may welcome you again in our unique hotel.
With warm regards,
Alex van Gastel
