Close to everything, Amsterdam city is relatively small, but I always personally enjoy staying near the Centraal Station, which I learned this weekend was built on 8000 wood pilings. Booked a club level room, on the 4th floor, but the club lounge is located on the main level, so I may think the hotel offers club rooms on different floors. Club lounge offerings were very good, for jet lagged travelers however, the fact it wasn't open 24 hours was a bit disappointing, but not entirely unexpected. Plenty of late night food options in Amsterdam, or even in the minibar are snacks, and the hotel has a limited 24 hour room service offering. Pizza I think and maybe some other simple items. The auto bill mini bar is a pain however. Staff is excellent, our corner room, luckily assigned, I might add, was the largest hotel room I've ever had in Europe. Small mishap on my bill was addressed and a bottle of wine delivered to our room to offer apologies and a note of correction.
'New' restaurant in lobby was offering 2 for 1 drinks between 1700-1800 and 2300-2400. Decent deal for a drink before and after dinner. Our trip was a romantic week in Europe, Valentine's Day in Paris and a long weekend at this great hotel in Amsterdam.

We visited this hotel for the weekend, and what a wonderful choice it turned out to be. The hotel is an easy five minutes walk from the station. Despite looking fairly ordinary from the outside, this hotel is beautifully decorated inside in a sleek and modern style. It is spotlessly clean throughout. Our room was spacious, with an enormous and very comfortable bed. The room had everything you could hope for, from a safe to complimentary slippers. Every member of the hotel staff we encountered was cheerful and friendly and they seemed delighted to be of service, going over and above their duties. We had booked a "Club Room", which gives you access to the hotel Club Room. This is a comfortable private lounge equipped with complimentary wine, beer, tea, coffee and soft drinks. A variety of snacks was also provided free - peanuts, biscuits, sweets, fruit, pastries and desserts. Frankly, this must have saved us a fortune. Free internet access and a printer is also available in the Club Room. Breakfast was delicious. There was a vast array of food - whatever you like to eat for breakfast, you will find it here, even if that includes a glass of champagne! There was no noise at night and the hotel is well-placed for walking to the Dam Square area. We couldn't fault it. Look no further - book this one!

Myself and my partner stayed at the crowne plaza over valentines and to arrive late on a Monday night after a long day of travelling to the welcome we received was excellent.

A special thank you to Maurice Janssen for everything you made our stay extra special we will never forget valentines 2012. Spoilt to say the least.

The hotel is fantastic, rooms very modern, clean and spacious and staff are very professional and polite they could not do enough for us. If you are thinking on staying at this hotel you will not be disappointed. Every inch was luxury to us. We are already thinking on our next trip with our baby boy at Xmas!!

Excellent location absolutely spotless and was a pleasure to stay in .would recommend to anybody.
