An excellent central location for exploring the sights of Amsterdam day and night. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms (although fairly small) were clean and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was basic yet excellent value for the price and was served until 11am catering for night owls. Highly recommended!

Hotel is perfectly located near Leidseplein, one of the main bar/food areas. Just a 3 minute walk from the tram stop. It is on a main street, so if you have a room facing that way you will hear the tram go by often and many people on the streets.
GREAT value for the location. But our double room was tired and worn down. We stayed in November 2011 and I've read that some rooms may have been updated, but ours was not. I would check with hotel before booking to ensure a newer room.
Staff was so friendly and like all Dutch people, spoke perfect English. Breakfast was small, but adequate. Good service at breakfast made up for the lack of options.
I would stay here again for the value in Amsterdam and the location to everything you want to do and see. We walked everywhere :)

Lovely, clean and recently renovated Hotel. Great location. And, the staff are amazing! We arrived at 8:30 am and they made every effort to get us in our room early. Meanwhile, waiting in the cafe with delicious coffee made our day. The breakfast is delicious. Staff are very knowledgeable about Amsterdam and will go out of their way to assist you with tickets and bus passes. The bus to and from the airport stops on the corner, takes just 30min and costs only 4 Euros. Wonderful movie theatre across the street and within 15 minutes you can walk to any site in Amsterdam. The rooms were clean and the location was perfect. WiFi was reliable. Breakfast was consistently good, fresh, and plentiful. The staff was helped us research details of where we wanted to go and things we wanted to see in Amsterdam and also made great recommendations.
