Our 2nd visit to Lancercombe Farm and we were again delighted with the gorgeous room and relaxing ambience. The log fire was always blazing in the guest sitting room - very cosy.
Nicola's breakfasts are excellent - with their own apple juice, sausages and eggs.
A very special place .....

Stayed at Lancercombe farm for two nights in September. Nicola and Simon were very welcoming and there was homemade cake and tea to greet us on our arrival. Its a lovely place and will definately be visiting again, hopefully next year. Had a tour of the farm, and the breakfast in one word is amazing.
For an evening meal Jack in the Green is lovely and for an the best devon cream tea, would recommend the woodland tea rooms, although i believe its only open peak season, but being being a big cream tea fan, these have to be the best ones!

Having just returned from Lancercombe Farm we can't recommend it too highly and we will definitely return ! Nicole and Simon are charming and welcoming hosts who go out of their way to make their guests feel relaxed and comfortable. Their beautifully and sympathetically restored Georgian farmhouse has a dedicated guest sitting room, dining room, comfortable bedrooms and immaculate en suites - add to this a delicious breakfast made from produce from the farm and you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. You might like to try meal at the Golden Lion or the Jack on the Green whilst you are there. Book early, with only two rooms you don't want to be disappointed !

To say it's a 'working farm' might give the wrong impression - it's idyllic and quiet. A lovely room with double aspect, very comfortable bed and sheets, and a great view over the garden. Excellent breakfast. We were made to feel very welcome. No chintz. You'd need to drive to nearby Sidmouth or Honiton, or walk along the river to The Golden Lion at Tipton St John for good dinner.
