I was recommended this hotel from friends who had stayed there previously and when i arrived i was pleasantly surprised. The Hotel has loads of real character and charm, not like some other hotels where all the rooms are exactly the same. It has a fantastic family feel and we were made to feel part of that family throughout our two week stay. There is a great sized pool which is perfect for chilling out in or doing some lengths. The hotel's location is perfect - a short walk down to Ashwem beach in the Morjim area which is a superb stretch of beach with great bars restaurants. It is far enough away from the main road to make it very quiet at night so we got great night's sleep every night and left feeling really refreshed. We ended up eating in the hotel a lot because the food there is SO GOOD! Honestly i have never tasted such amazing curry in my life - and i am british and we love our curries! The Fish Tikka cooked in a proper old Tandoor was simply incredible and the service was so good that when a fresh Naan bread was made the staff literally ran it to our table in order so that we could enjoy it as fresh and hot as possible!
The hotel owner 'Raju' was a fantastic host and really looked after us throughout our trip. He has two of the best hotel rules i have ever come across.. Firstly he never measures his drinks and is extremely generous with his quantities.. and secondly you can have breakfast at any time during the day - so there is no need to rush in the mornings - you can have breakfast as early or as late as you like! Ok - the hotel is slightly more expensive than some other hotels in Goa but the luxurious and unpretentious experience we had it was WELL WORTH IT. I will definitely be going back - for me it's the perfect place to re-charge - I cannot wait !!
