“Fabulous Holiday in Lido and would stay at Imperia again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 August 2010

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday in Jesolo and loved it.
Firstly, Andrea from the Imperia picked us up from the airport for a hassle free journey to the hotel.
The hotel is spotless. First impressions on the room was, wow, they are small, but they are perfectly adequate - you don't spend a lot of time there. Plenty of storage space. Staff are friendly and courteous and the breakfast is great. We stayed on a BnB basis.
The hotel is in a fantastic central location, but off the main road, which means the rooms are very quiet at night, which is perfect.
You just cross the road on leaving, walk down the lane and straight onto the beach - perfect.
Lido itself is huge - surprisingly so. And the variety is fantastic for eating out. Our favourites for lunch was the Black Cat - good for beans on toast for the kids and salads - if you want a break from paninis and toasties. In the evening we loved Da Marios and The Beach Grill. Their scoglio or Spaghetti alla Cozze is fantastic if you love seafood.
The shops are excellent as well - great variety and all very classy - not your typical holiday cheap tat shops. Designer shops and great leather shops.
We will definiately go back to Lido and if we do, the Imperia will be our first choice without a doubt.
We also took a day trip to Venice - a must since you are so close. A bus to Punto Sabione and the ferry across - faultless service. Venice is stunning - a must for all to see. Only €17 per person - although no discount for children. Height determines whether you pay, so if your child is over 1m in height, they pay full price.
Thanks to Andrea and his family, keep up the good work.

“A Gem of a Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 June 2010

Having read all the previous reviews decided to stay at the Hotel Imperia. The main purpose of the trip was to visit a British War Cemetery in Tezze where my Uncle was buried. Killed in the Battle of Piave 1918. Found all this by researching my family history. This hotel is absolutely lovely, the Family Faloppa are the perfect hosts. All the family work hard at maintaning this lovely place. Picked up at the airport by Mr Faloppa and taken by him, during our visit, to the War Grave Cemetery to see the grave. The food is good, typical italian food, well cooked and served by very efficient waiters and waitresses. Housekeeping extremely clean, plenty of towels supplied in the bathroom. The situation of the Hotel in the main street very central to everything that Jesolo has to offer. The beach less than five minutes away. The beach layout with sunbeds and umbrellas included in the tariff is a bonus because that would be very expensive if you had to pay. We did go during the day to a restaurant just down the road called Laguna which was another gem of a place, lovely food and again good staff. We were returned again to the airport for a flight home by Mr. Faloppa, who spoke excellent English and was a mine of information about the area in fact anything to do with Italy. All in all a lovely hotel a Gem of a Place, no wonder it is so popular. Would go again any time.

My wife and I had a very nice stay. The rooms were clean, breakfast was very good which was included with room. We also appreciated the very nice family that owns the hotel, they were very nice and helpful to insure a GREAT 25 year wedding anniversary for us.

“It was wonderful. The Lido and the hotel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2009

We (my wife and daughter - 1 year old) were there in June. Lido di Jesolo is a wonderful place to rest with small children. There are a lot of people with children so you do not need to worry about making some inconvenience to other people on the beach, for example. Good location of the village: you may visit Vicenza, Padova, Treviso. In the high season it's not very convenient to visit Venice with small baby so we make it only one time.
About hotel: good location: near to the main street but in small distance, we have a room with window to the street parallel to main (Banfi) and it's not noisy; free Internet, free bycicle (very useful in this place), friendly staff. We have B&B so I cannot comment on food, breakfast was usual - continental. It takes about 20 minutes to get to bus station. The good wine bar is opposite to the hotel.
Two good restaraunt/cafe near to the hotel: Europe and its neighbour.

“wonderful stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 November 2008

We arrived at the hotel by their own hotel transport from the airport which was efficient and comfortable. The hotel was clean and comfortable and it had very friendly staff. nothing was any bother to them , I asked for extra pillows and blankets and was given them within minutes. my baby grandaughter needed boiled water for her bottles of milk every day and it was no problem whatsoever. Lido was quiet as it was out of season(2nd week of September) but we still enjoyed the short break very much. The only downside was that Italy can be very expensive.
