The hotel had a good location on the main street, and the rooms were a good size and clean. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, but consisted mostly of pastries - also some cheese, meat, and a hot item that changed daily. The hotel advertises wifi, but had a wired connection in the room which only worked about 75% of the time (there is also a computer in the lobby that guests can use), We prefer wifi so that we can both get our work done at the same time, with a wired connection, only one of us could use at a time, and not with our hand helds. Other then that, no complaints.

There were much better deals to be had in Lipari. I stayed here because I thought the extra cost would equate to better facilities and service, it didn't. The rooms weren't overly clean and not very atmospheric. I was promised a balcony and was provided with a shared one outside my apartment. It was sometimes difficult to get info about Lipari and activities etc. It is close to restaurants and bars, but a 20 minute bus ride to the beach. Other places were way cheaper for the same if not better service and facility.

We had a booked a studio apartment with two bedrooms and were more than happy with what we got. Comfortable rooms, great furnishings and fittings, convenient location on the main Corso between Marina Corta and Marina Lunga and an elaborate breakfast. great to come back here in the evenings.

I spend a lot of time looking at TripAdvisor reviews when planning where to stay. A friend found this online, I hadn't found anything better, and so we went with it. I was a bit tentative because no one before me had written anything.
My husband, daughter and I got the Jr. Suite. We had only asked for a triple, but as things played out we got the upgrade. It was very nice, with a balcony/patio that would have been lovely to simply stay and hang out on. Many of the rooms have a kitchenette (really more of very large armoire that has a sink/counter/stove) I don't know how to describe it. It would come in handy during a longer visit. Our group had 3 rooms between us and ours was definitely the nicest - but all were comfortable.
The location is extremely convenient -- right on the main pedestrian street of the town of Lipari. The day we were leaving the young man at the desk arranged a private taxi tour of the island. It very enjoyable and interesting.
Suffice to say, it's a good place to stay.
