We made this our base for 5 days, did day trips and had a ball. The Hotel Duomo has the perfect location and very very good amenities. Would return in a heartbeat. Very helpful staff and one of the best breakfasts we enjoyed during our 18 days in Italy.

I stayed for one day in September and wish it was longer. Had a beautiful room, wifi and friendly staff. Sure the shower was tiny but I didn't care. I stayed in five star places through to three star and this one was by far the best. The reception lady was awesome and rebooted the wifi for me when it didn't work initially. It's location was brilliant. TIP for drivers who are frightened....park outside the city walls and walk up. The receptionist gives you a great map to the hotel and free parking. To get there just walk through the city walls and simply keep going up till you get to the town square perched right on the summit of the hill. It's just to one side of that square. Wished I'd stayed longer. Great base for exploring Tuscany and not yet overrun with us pesky tourists like other Tuscan hillside towns

We stayed 3 nights at the Albergo Duomo in early September and found it to be a very nice central location for our day trips around Tuscany. It was a little hard to find at first, but with a phone call and finally finding the correct signs, we were able to drive right up to the front door. The receptionist helped us unload and then drove with us to park. The parking was very close by, and after that we found it easy and actually fun driving in and out of town. There is something cool about being able to drive in a medival town and through a square where cars were never intended to be. Thank goodness for having a really small car! The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The rooms and hotel were very clean and our room was large - with 2 beds and a couch. The only drawback was no air conditioning, but we had a large fan in the room so it was fine.They had a good selection for breakfast. And also an elevator - our first on this trip. We would stay again, and would like to spend more time exploring in Montepulciano.

Our room was tiny and outdated, the beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom was very small as well. There were no windows so the room was dark and dreary. Motelpuciano is a great place to explore however this is not the place to stay while doing so. The only plus was that parking was included. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone in the future.
