Zubebi's owner, the balance of attentiveness and privacy with which he handles his guests, the peaceful quietude of his setup, the genuine attentiveness of his team, delicate and generous, provide an experience all in harmony with resting in Pantelleria.

His graceful hospitality compensated for the setbacks of the rainy days, the fog that forced us into staying another night, and our 6 am wake up by the carabinieri on our first morning (for historical reasons unrelated to Zubebi or its guests!).

In a non baby friendly island like Pantelleria, Zubebi was THE most baby friendly resort on the island. We had a wonderful, memorable week at Zubebi resort . We were grateful that the management team ; Riccardo, Anna & Eraldo were ALWAYS very kind, professional, attentive & helpful to ensure that our stay with our young baby was most comfortable & pleasant. They helped to ensure that our baby's meals can be prepared if needed and even catered to our baby's groceries needs if requested. Riccardo was also very honest & professional when the local rental car companies tried to take advantage of us. Our dammuso suite was well furnished with the possibility of a self-catering kitchenette, clean, spacious and has a wonderful panoramic seaview which was a luxury. Breakfast is a delight with freshly baked sweet&savoury cakes with home-made jams. I must also admit that Zubebi restaurant serves some of the best local specialities on the island; namely the sicilian pesto pasta & fish couscous. Compliments to the chef ! We didnt bother venturing out of the resort much, lazing by their panoramic pool with soft breeze especially during sunset is a dream. Thank you all again for making our stay memorable. You're a true oasis of relax & kindness....We'll be back with our baby looking for bow-bow, mr.c !!

We were originally planning to stay at this resort but as it's location was not on the sea, we chose to stay elsewhere. We did however want to experience the highly acclaimed restaurant.
What a deception!
The food portions were ridiculously small, overpriced and uneatable. I am an experienced traveller, married to an Italian and we both have an extensive knowledge of southern Italian cuisine. I don't know if the chef had a cold that day but the local speciality, Pesto Pantesco was over salted, the pasta was totally raw (we do enjoy "al dente") and it seems they just forgot to add herbs and spices to everything. They did change the over salted plate when we insisted they taste it themselves, but for a restaurant that boasts it's haute cuisine, we found Zubebi to be insult to food in general.
