I love this hotel with all the flowers in bloom..the landscape is amazing. Everything from the facilities to the location and the service is outstanding.
Rooms have been renovated and they are very confortable, a nice flat screen TV with a wide selection of channels. The concierge and the front desk were jovial, they smiles all the time.
The terrace overlooking the golf course is magnific from the morning to the sunset or late night drink...
This hotel still breaths the era of old aristocracy and is very rare these days.
I hope to come back for skiing this winter
Luxury is at its best and the setting is unforgettable.
The room has a huge balcony full of multicoloured flowers with a magnificient view of the golf course, a very well appointed bathroom and the bed is cosy.
The facilities are plentiful, there is such a good variety of restaurants that you really don't need to go out.
The service was super friendly as the Hotel is mainly staffed by Italians, most of whom have been working here since a long time and they greeted us with big smiles, looking happy to work there.
The spa is terrific with a beautiful view of the indoor swimming pool and surrounding greenery.
The ambiance is stress relieving and much more classy than the other five stars of Crans Montana.
Upon check out the concierge inquired about our stay, wanting to make certain all went well, he enthusiastically recommended a return trip in winter. I hope one day to return to this lovely hotel.
Don't think twice , stay there.
The hotel is just outside the village center and next to the golf course. The location is quiet and perfect for a good sleep. If you arrive at the entrance, the hotel is not in a very good shape, but inside it feels cosy with a lots of decorations. Breakfast Buffet is little and and not very exciting. No honey, no birchermüsli, no fruits. We asked for fruits and they served a nice bowl of fruit salad. We booked a basic room and on the booking form we asked for kingsize oder two single beds. At the reception, they showed us a room with queen size (french) and one room with two single beds. But for the room with two single beds they asked for an additional CHF 100.--. For two single beds, we were willing to pay more and offered to pay CHF 70.-- extra. The hotel didn't make an upgrade. So we were wondering about this and stayed in the room with the little bed. Next time, we will stay again in the crans ambassador hotel. It was closed a that time.
We have spent our winter holidays at the Grand Hotel du Golf, the hotel is located in the very heart of Crans Montana.
We were given a fabulous room, quiet and spacious, their beds and linens were so comfortable to sleep in after skiing...apparently the rooms have been remodeled recently.
The service is incredible and every member of the staff was helpful, this is a hotel that clearly understands the importance of customers, we were really impressed with the speed and quality of any request. They all do everything to make your holidays a beautiful moment.
The indoor swimming pool is gorgeous, the spa is a jewel and there is an excellent gym with plenty of equipments.
The courtesy shuttle to the ski-lifts was appreciated.
Everything to like, not a thing to dislike.
I felt compelled to write this after reading some negative reviews on trip advisor. I don't know what we are referring to, but it certainly was not the hotel we stayed at! We are definitely looking forward to going back and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting lovely Crans Montana.
