“Mary take care to all details you could imagine, really lovely”

I loved Ballinsheen House from the minute we pulled up. It is on a hill just outside of town, so the view was pretty. I loved the room! It was one of the few spacious rooms on our trip and Mary take care of all details. The room have a bottle of water, coffee, milk, tea, chocolate and a teamaker machine, Hair dryer and a AC adaptor just for in case you forgotten. The bathroom have a delicious gel, cream for hands and all details you could imagine.
In the bedroom you find information about all places you can visit around (cliff's of moehr, Burren etc).
There is a nice reading area to enjoy books in and just space. The home has a very open floor plan and a box for change books (you put a book and take another to you).
The breakfast is classic with more than good quantity.
And finally, but not for that less important, Tod and Larry (the friend of tod), the dogs, that comes to receive you all the time.
It's really a lovely place

“The Ballinsheen in Lisdoonvarna”

This B&B was so inviting and well located that we extended our stay for the 4 of us an additional night and made it our home base for part of our vacation. Mary is one of the most organized people I've met. Every detail was well done...the rooms, the grounds and breakfast. Lisdoonvarna has several restaurants and pubs with nightly music during high season and they were all within a short walk down the hill. Ireland is amazingly scenic and we tried to take full advantage of it. Mary gave great suggestions as to what not to miss and we thank her for all her great suggestions. Ballinsheen House is highly recommended by us, but also by Rick Steve's Ireland 2011.

“Wonderful location, splendid hospitality & lovely breakfast, great home”

We found Ballinsheen House in Lisdoonvarna through a guide book. It's in a lovely spot, elevated on a hill with beautiful garden landscape. Mary, the owner, was so cordial & answered our questions and gave advice. We had a spotless room on the 2nd floor overlooking a territorial view. This was a great location to go to the Cliffs of Moher nearby. Mary recommended a splendid restaurant called Wild Honey in town, several blocks from the B&B. Creative & delicious culinary fare, romantic setting, yummy desserts! Mary's breakfast in the morning was also very tasty. We'd return here & highly recommend you choosing her accommodation.
