This is definitely a couples or family resort. It's quite out of the way, about 2 hours from the airport, I managed to get a cab from the airport for 300,000 IDR(around $30AUD). It's a very quiet resort and the staff are very accommodating. There is not much around the resort and you will tire of the menu at the restaurant very quickly, the prices for food and drinks are quite high for Indonesia. The setting is beautiful but unfortunately due to ocean currents a lot of rubbish ends up in the water surrounding the resort so we stuck mostly to the pool, also i didn't get 3g reception on my Indonesian SIM while there and the internet was down a the resort the entire time which was quite inconvenient as i had work to do. That being said it's a lovely place to spend a few days just relaxing.

We stayed here for 2 nights and got the whole resort to ourselves! It was wonderful, the stafff could not do more to help us - they were lovely. We chose Cocotinos as it was close to famous surfing spot - Desert Point. We ate in the restaurant throughout our stay and I have to say the food was fantastic, some of the best meals we had while travelling in Bali/Lombok, and the prices were reasonable too.
The rooms were new and clean with huge comfty beds and an indoor and outdoor shower. The view was spectacular, we were lucky enough to watch the full moon rise one night, so pretty.
If we come back to Sekotong, we will definitely stay here again.

It takes a lot for me to rate this as a five star experience. Both Cocotinos Manado and Sekotong were superb.

I don’t need to go on and on in this review…read the others for details. You’ll not see many places with as pristine coral as this!

The food, staff and service were great!

We stayed here for a couple of nights and loved the friendly staffs, nicely decorated room and quiet location. It was a perfect getaway place and a place to get yourself pampered. We missed this place so much especially the moment we got to Bali at the end of our stay (before returning to our home country).
We would suggest the Water Edge Villa as it comes with private beach and pool. You may have to give in on the quality of food but the service quality is almost perfect. The staffs are very helpful. Although the resort operated on a bigger scale (compared to the same one in Manado), you will still get your attention from friendly staffs including the crew from the diving school.I would highly recommend this place for honeymooners and leisure divers.The Odyssea Divers did a great job too. The service provided was good and personalized but at the same time, highly professional.
